Project Schedule

Opportunities for Project Involvement

During this phase of the project, community members and business owners and operators will have multiple opportunities to learn about project progress and share their feedback with the design team.

Construction for the project is expected to begin in spring 2027, and the project team will continue to provide updates to residents and businesses throughout its duration.

Public involvement meetings will be scheduled during these upcoming design phase milestones:

August 2023

Public Involvement Meeting No. 1

Project team to introduce the project, seek feedback from the community and present crash and traffic data.

January 2024

Public Involvement Meeting No. 2

Project team to present feasible design alternatives that look to improve the safety and traffic concerns presented at PIM No. 1, and gathering public feedback on each alternative.

May 2024

Public Involvement Meeting No. 3

Project team to present the preferred corridor design alternative and gather public support for the preferred alternative, which will complete the project’s environmental documentation.

Fall 2025

Public Involvement Meeting No. 4

Project team to present pre-final design plans and information about construction staging and changes to access. Gather public input about design specifics and potential construction concerns.
